Helping our clients in the Health & Fitness industry to find more customers

Further to my previous video where I introduced myself as the specialist within the health and fitness industry, lets now look at one of the problems you may face as a personal trainer.

From my experience, discussions with current clients and conversations on social media, one of the main issues seems to be how to increase your number of clients.

Exploring this issue, there are a number of ways that you could potentially increase your number of clients.

A big story at the minute is the level of childhood obesity, the latest figures from Public Health England show that a third of 10-11 year olds and over a fifth of 4-5 year olds are overweight or obese. Could you go into local schools and offer group sessions for children? Maybe even offer free sessions to begin with to get the schools excited and so you can show them how good you are.

But it’s not just childhood obesity that’s an issue at the minute, more and more jobs nowadays are desk based, creating all sorts of health problems for people who have a desk based job. Could you go into local businesses and offer group sessions to their staff?

Another avenue to explore could be the use of social media. Could you promote awareness of yourself through online videos? Give people a taster of what they could expect from you. Do you have any transformation stories from current clients that you could share? Do you have any current clients who would be willing to leave testimonials for you? The idea behind this is to get your name out there, get people interested and hopefully get enquiries.

These are just a few ways that could potentially help you to increase your number of clients.

If you would like to discuss any of these further or how we support the health and fitness industry, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01865 379272.
