Chapman Robinson & Moore Accountants becomes the 50th business to commit to more responsible business by becoming member of Reciprocate.
Chapman Robinson & Moore Accountants has joined other local companies such as Unipart, Royds Withy King, DAF Trucks and Allen Associates as a member of influential responsible business group Reciprocate. On joining, the company has made a number of impact pledges including the support of their teams voluntary contribution and support of local community organisations.
Hosted by Oxfordshire Community Foundation, Reciprocate was launched in March 2016 to enable companies to become more effective and strategic in the way they support their local community. It aims to address the fact that many companies locally want to give something back to their community, but aren’t sure where to start or how to turn their ad-hoc CSR policies into something more meaningful. Reciprocate member companies believe that, by working together, sharing ideas and collaborating on projects, they can realise their good intentions through the power of many.
Chapman Robinson & Moore joined Reciprocate after attending an event at Said business school, and has committed to joining together with the 49 other members to address some of the social problems affecting Oxfordshire. On joining, each member company agrees to an ‘impact pledge’, identifying specific actions that will enable them to become more effective in the way they engage with their local community.
Mike Foster of Chapman Robinson & Moore says: “We are delighted to be members of Reciprocate and continue our commitment as a responsible business. As a firm, we encourage our team to volunteer their time and knowledge in the support of local community organisations.”
Jayne Woodley, Chief Executive at Oxfordshire Community Foundation, comments: “We are delighted to welcome Chapman Robinson & Moore to Reciprocate. Reciprocate is all about the community foundation being able to share our knowledge of some of the unacceptable social challenges in the county. What we really want to do is get businesses together and make it easy for them to bring a little bit of passion and purpose to their corporate social responsibility.”
